Wild and Wooly. That’s how some students described this week’s llama trek, deep in Oakland’s Redwood Regional Park. Llama rancher Geo Caldwell brought six of his best “boys” down from Sonora to hike with our SMC travelers, who chronicled their adventures with these intelligent animals. The best student work will be published this month in the East Bay Regional Park’s e-newsletter.
